Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategic Initiatives: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategic plans that align with the hospital's mission, vision, and long-term objectives. Identify and prioritize key initiatives to ensure sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
- Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, new business opportunities, and potential areas for expansion. Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact the hospital's strategic direction.
- Performance Metrics and Monitoring: Establish performance metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. Regularly monitor progress, identify challenges, and adapt plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to ensure alignment of strategic plans across the organization. Foster a cohesive and collaborative approach to strategic decision-making.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess potential risks and challenges associated with strategic initiatives. Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the hospital's interests.
- Resource Allocation and Budgeting: Work closely with the finance team to allocate resources effectively and ensure the alignment of strategic plans with the hospital's budget.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements to ensure that all strategic plans adhere to legal and ethical standards.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team of professionals responsible for various aspects of strategic planning. Provide mentorship, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance team performance.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 15 years of working experience in a commercial or corporate strategy role or Business Management
- Proven experience in strategic planning, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ecellent leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate teams.
