System Release Engineer [Poland]

 

The system release engineer coordinates and processes internal and customer system releases for automotive high voltage inverters. You will be the key player for getting all engineering competencies contributing to deliver software, hardware, data and test work products required for releasing the product to the customer. You will be part of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined product development team, working on latest state of the art 800V SiC / 400V Si / SiC inverters for battery electric vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and contribute to the systems release checkout before mass production
• Consider cybersecurity settings for internal and customer product releases

  Coordinate with system testing and calibration team for releasing data files into the customer release system
• Release software and calibration data file from version control system (Plastic SCM) into the manufacturing release system (holding area and release database) and connect it to the right hardware revision using BorgWarner SWIT tool
• Keep track on upcoming product releases with the system project lead and the hardware design lead
• Fulfill change owner role for product industrialization process (CMII)
• Launch and execute CMII compliant production change management process
• Keep all project competencies for the product release informed about upcoming activities and due dates (Tech and Org Review)
• Adapt release process according to product and customer responsibility

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic, mechatronics, or software engineering. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
• Good knowledge in embedded systems (memory types and addressing, programming interfaces)
• Cybersecurity knowledge is a plus
• Script language knowledge is a plus
• Product knowledge of power electronic inverters, traction motors and control software is a strong plus.
• Previous experience with manufacturing process, end of line tests and industrialization is a plus
• Good communication skills are required
• Occasional travel, domestic and international.
• English (at least B2) is required.
