The position

By joining our team in CFO Functional Center of Excellence you will have the opportunity to:
  • Processing of internal and external payments for all subsidiaries in Equinor.

  • Daily reconcile all external bank accounts.

  • User support to end users.

  • Follow up our bank relations.

  • Internal bank operations.

  • Participate in cash management improvements and projects.

Equinor’s Payment and Internal Bank team (PIB) is part of FCoE F&C TT (Treasury & Tax) and we are now seeking a new member to our team. Our team’s ambition is; Adding value through safe, stable and high quality services. We are responsible for executing and following up all payments for Equinor. PIB has processed 1,2 million payments of total value USD 1,2 trillion during the last year for the Equinor group, which is more than 200 subsidiaries in 30 countries, reconciling more than 600 external bank accounts daily, and operating daily zero-balancing structures & Cash forecasting. Candidate we are seeking is an engaged and result oriented person who is always looking for improvements. The candidate must be motivated and have the capacity to deliver with high quality and to contribute to shape the future of the payment function in Equinor. PIB is an important gatekeeper for compliance in payment execution. High integrity is therefore very important.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Economical/Finance/Administrative/Technical Master or Bachelors degree.

  • Preferable with experience from finance department.

  • Risk awareness and ability to identify and manage risk.

  • Experience from use of SAP and O365 applications.

  • Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Personal qualities:

  • Accurate and proactive.

  • Ability to work both independently and with others and deliver results in a hectic workday.

  • Ability to understand and process new and complex issues and cases.

  • With mindset of continuous improvement.
